Visit to the new South East Region Hospital - March 2017
Merimbula Venturers organised a tour of the new South East Regional Hospital. Venturers from Merimbula and Cobargo attended and were shown a behind the scenes tour of the hospital.
South Coast and Tablelands, Regional Caving weekend at Bungonia - 24-26 Feb 2017
Venturers, and leaders from SC&T went to Bungonia, (Just east of Goulburn) for 2 days of caving and Abseiling.
The Venturers went caving on Friday evening and all day Saturday. Sunday morning was spent learning how to check abseiling equipment and how to safely set up an abseiling site.
A big thank you to Rob and Mark for leading the caving. Someone mentioned that they must have been sewer rats in a former life, as they enjoy spending hours underground.
